Glen Kennedy is a writer, director, and producer making his short film debut with The Trap House. He brings several years of experience directing broadcast commercials and producing award-winning, multi-camera educational content. Holding degrees in Film Studies and Psychology, his work is grounded in a deep interest in narrative, cinema, and human behavior. Glen has shot projects across four continents, crafting visually striking, atmospheric, and character-driven work.

Spencer Bruttig
Cinematographer/Producer
Spencer Bruttig is an accomplished cinematographer and producer, known for his work on the Emmy-winning web drama Anacostia (2015). After directing and producing his own noir-thriller short film The Irving Park Murder in 2025, Spencer brings a wealth of production experience to the project, along with a refined, character-driven visual sensibility and lighting designs that will bring the horror of the trap house to life. Having collaborated with Glen on other productions; Glen has been consistently impressed by his technical precision, creative instincts, and steady presence on set. We are both excited to tackle the challenges of this very technical and creative production together.

Matt O’Donnell
Animator/Post Production Specialist
Matt O’Donnell is the filmmaker behind the internationally recognized short Runelight (2022), winner of major animation awards in Paris, Toronto, and Los Angeles. With years of experience as head of post-production at a creative agency, he brings deep technical and creative expertise to every project. Matt and Glen worked together for several years, collaborating on a wide range of projects, from broadcast commercials to e-learning content and cinematic animation for blockchain clients. He now brings his signature visual language and robust 3D modeling and animation knowledge to the Barnaby and Glowfly visuals of The Trap House.

Brendan Kimmet
1st Assistant Director
Brendan Kimmet is an Award Winning Writer and Director who specializes in telling stories with visual appeal and emotional depth. A multi-talented Artist, he enjoys collaborating with other Creatives in the role of Assistant Director and BTS as a Still Photographer and Set Documentarian when not working on his own Projects. Brendan’s ability to run a set efficiently echoes his extreme knowledge and passion for Film. His mantra is to make sure the Director gets what they need and that the Story is effectively told by picture wrap. He’s a great person to know if you need any Film recommendations and his extroverted nature is what’ll make a Production like The Trap House thrive with focus and energy.
